Submission
Starting July 1, 2018, all temporary visitors' visa applications will be processed through designated travel agencies. This means that you can no longer proceed to the Embassy to personally apply. So once you have all the requirements listed above, you just need to submit your documents to one of the embassy's 35 accredited travel agencies. For a complete list of the designated travel agencies and their contact information, please click here.

Visa fee is free for those who are planning to stay in South Korea for 59 days or less and PHP2,000 for those who are staying in South Korea for 60 to 90 days.

Please take note however that the designated travel agencies may charge a fee for the processing of the visa applications. Contact your preferred travel agencies from the list to check how much is the processing fee. Usual visa processing fees range from PHP500 to PHP2,000.

Approval
Once you have submitted all the requirements, you just need to wait and pray that you get approved.

Processing time for applications are 5 working days for those who have not been to OECD countries within the last 5 years, and 3 working days for those who have been to OECD countries as a tourist within the last 5 years. Confirm with your chosen travel agency how long is the processing time as they would need an additional day or two to submit your documents and pick up your passport.

Once you have been notified by your travel agency that your passport is ready, pick it up from their office.

If you see that you have been issued a South Korean visa, you may now proceed to purchasing your airline tickets (if you have not bought them yet) or booking your accommodation and tours. Take note that single entry visas are valid only for 3 months from the date of issue.

If your application got denied, don't get discouraged. Check what could be the possible reasons for the denial. Then start a fresh application after 6 months.
