High-Flying Fun at Tree Top Adventure Baguio

Have you ever stepped outside your cozy home and ventured into the forest to experience nature and to take in its beauty? Many would say that they have already taken a walk through the forest or have done mountain hiking. Imagine, however, if you could witness nature from a different perspective - that instead of walking through the woods looking up at trees, you look down on them and cross through getting a bird's eye view of the forest.

Experience
We arrived at Tree Top Adventure at around 9:30AM. There were only a few other guests at that time. We were told the park is least busy the first few hours of the day. Yeah, great timing for us!

We paid the PHP100 admission fee at the entrance and checked out the list of activities. We were advised to carefully think through the activities we wanted to avail and just pay for them inside the park. We then attended the safety briefing which lasted for about 10 minutes. After that, we were directed to the central pavilion where we signed the waiver forms. Here, we decided to take the slow-pace Canopy Ride, Trekking, and Skywalk. Tip: If you have any adventure seekers in your group, we'd also recommend the fast-pace activities.

The first step is to pay the admission fees and attend the safety briefing
Since we already paid for the entrance fees, we topped up for our chosen activities and claimed our tickets. Afterward, we proceeded to the gear area to suit up with safety harness, karabiners, and helmets. We queued for about 10 minutes and then it was our turn for the Canopy Ride. The Canopy Ride is similar to a cable car experience but you will be sitting on a suspended chair and will be transferred from one tower to another.

Our adventure started at a tower attached to the pavilion that looks to be at least 100 feet high. The tower guide did all the clippings on our safety gear and checked if we were ready. With nervous laughs, we told him to proceed. From there we began to make our way to the next tower. Despite our fears, we gradually got more comfortable with the elevation and started to enjoy the activity. In the next section, we were already confident and we took pictures of the forest.

After the Canopy Ride, we trekked for about 500 feet and reached the Skywalk. The Skywalk is a viewing deck jutting out 65 feet from the cliff edge at 100 feet high. It boasts of unobstructed and panoramic views of the Itogon mountains. As we rested on the platform, we felt like we were hidden away from the rest of the world.

After getting a new perspective on nature and taking in its beauty, we trekked back to the central pavilion where we "cooled off" and talked about the experience. It was indeed refreshing, exciting, and memorable. Two Juanderers-recommended!
